In 1990, the Ziegler house was fully restored, becoming the centerpiece and main house of the Grant Street Inn. Since then, four other buildings have been added to provide additional rooms for guests.
Each of our 40 rooms has a unique style, so you are sure to find a room that matches your personality. Some rooms have an old-world feel with antiques and porches for quiet, relaxing evenings, while others are more contemporary and spacious for the corporate urban traveler. All rooms have a private bath, flat-screen TV, iron and ironing board, hairdryers and high-speed wireless internet. A fitness center is also available on-site for all guests.
Built in the 1880s, this is the main house and serves as our centerpiece. It is decorated in rich Victorian themes and is home to our front desk and the dining area as well as 9 rooms, 21-29, that offer a variety of king, queen or twin beds.
Attached to the main house by the dining room, this charming building is designed in traditional antique décor. The rooms in this wing, 30-34, have king or queen beds and a shared wraparound porch, with rocking chairs, for guests to enjoy.
The décor of our two-story Annex is more chic and contemporary than in the main house. Each room offers a refrigerator, coffeemaker, queen bed and working desk. Rooms 40-48 are a popular option for corporate travelers or those who prefer a room away from the activities in the main lobby and dining room.
This small private cottage with a large front porch is the perfect option for those who want to enjoy more solitude. The two cottage rooms adjoin, and each room has a queen bed, coffeemaker, and large desk, and is decorated in a contemporary style.
The newest addition to the Inn is a planet-friendly space which is LEED certified, a designation awarded for environmentally responsible construction. Rooms 60-77 are decorated in a modern, chic theme and boast a large king bed, full sofa sleeper, refrigerator, coffeemaker, large working desk, and luxurious furnishings. A full fitness center is located on the lower level.
